Collections AssociateJob Description Do you have business to business collections experience? ** Are you ready to collect your belongings at your current job and make a great career move? ** Then look no further! Freemanis looking for an experiencedCollections Associatewho will be based out of our Dallas Corporate office.** This role's primary function is to collect on outstanding accounts receivable balances ranging from $100 to $100,000 through communication with sales personnel and customers in a professional, courteous and diplomatic manner. **Responsibilities include: ** * Independently prioritizes and purses assigned accounts for collections and provides excellent customer service, invoicing and problem solving techniques to ensure payment. * Use solid judgment and discretion when selecting means of collection based on unique customer circumstances. Resolve and prevent operational irritants to facilitate prompt payment. * Utilize available reporting tools and Microsoft Office tools to organize and manage portfolio in an efficient manner. Create reports and analysis to understand and interpret assigned accounts. * Negotiate settlements within authorized guidelines independently. Recommend and propose settlements outside of guidelines to management team. * Identify and prevent credit risk and receivable related loss to company. Evaluate customer records and recommend that accounts be closed, credit limit reduced or extended, based payment history and activity of customer. ** Now that you have read about what you will be doing, let's see if you have the qualifications to do the job! **Required Experience Required Skills ** * Five year tenure in a financial or accounting environment, including at least three (3) years of commercial collection experience (inbound and outbound communication) * Hands-on experience using SAP Collections Module * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of customer contacts, sales personnel, colleges, vendors and lawyers. * Excellent problem solving skills, efficient and organized, with sensible business and relationship judgment. * Assertive self starter and quick learner with ability to work independently. * Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Excel.*Â Preferred Skills: * Degree in accounting, financial or similar field preferred but not required. ** ** Ready to credit yourself with making a great career move?** Submit your online resume in order to be considered. ** **Job LocationDallas, TX USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular Travel Involved No Travel Required Is Relocation Offered?
