Offered for Sale is a G&L L-xxxx 5 String Bass Guitar. This is a unique instrument, only produced for a few years during the 90's. It features a 34" scale neck with maple fingerboard, transparent blue finish with G&L tuners and saddle lock bridge. Electronics include two EMG humbucking active pickups, through a two band (bass and treble) active EQ circuit, with pickup blend control. The bass is in excellent condition, has fresh strings, and shows almost no wear. The tone is massive and has that charactoristic EMG snap and definition. Jason Newsted played this model when he was with Metallica. Needless to say it excells at hard rock and metal. Works well for any rock or pop application. Comes with the OHSC, also in excellent condition.
