Funk/Rock Drummer Needed in Dallas, Texas For Sale

We are currently looking for a drummer for our Funk/Rock band! We are an Electronic/Funk-Rock original outfit out of Dallas and we are seeking a drummer who is a perfect fit. We truly need someone who is committed and dedicated to the art form as well as someone who has vision and who wants to be more than just a local musician. We are working diligently to do something greater than just average. We need someone who can come in and learn really fast as we already have performances booked and have been performing consistently for over the past year. Our style and influences include Prince, Linkin Park, Sly Stone, Maroon 5, James Brown, Cee Lo Green, Knarls Barkley, Parliment-Funkadelic, George Clinton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray. Our shows are 120% energy and we need a drummer who is not afraid to let go. We are NOT looking for someone who just wants or needs to be a hired gun or (DRUMMER FOR HIRE)! We Are Looking For a BAND MEMBER! We are building something special and if drumming is just about another or the NEXT PAYING gig for you-We are NOT the band for you! I understand the need and want to get paid-we all want that! If you are all about the quick dollar and aren't committed to working for something greater-WE ARENT FOR YOU! We need to someone who is not afraid to grow with us and who will commit to building a Monster Entertainment Experience. We have a very ORIGINAL specific sound and a unique LOOK and this is a vitally important part of who we are. We need someone who is willing to fall in with the style AND LOOK of the band (you have to be willing to dress the part and PLAY THE ROLE-THIS IS A MUST). We are not musicians who just hit the stage in street clothes. We dress the part of rockers, we carry the attitude on stage and we give our audience a 100% ROCK/Funk SHOW! And this is how our band operates across the board. We were voted down to the top 3 bands to play the KDGE Edgefest last year and we recently won a Dallas Observer music AWARD in xxxx!! We are about serious business and making it happen! And again-yes we want and like to get paid, but as anyone knows its a process especially when you are performing original music! We practice 2 to 3 times a week. We perform mostly weekends Fridays and Saturday. Your schedule needs to fit with this. We are doing some shows out of town. Must have pro gear and reliable transportation!
