This sax is 100% made by selmer paris in europe and
Assembled by selmer paris in europe .
This is the reason why these european selmer mk vi is clean without the
Floral engravings you normally see on the mk vi's assembled in america.
The french assembled horns have a lighter, more orange-gold colored lacquer.
The paris horns seem to be set for a lighter, brighter sound and also have a little
Closer action and many claims that they generally have better tuning
Compared to usa assembled mark vi.
Selmer mark vi speaks for itself and need no further description !!
Serial no. : 133xxx (dates this to xxxx)
The lacquer is original and the pads are in great shape !
The neck have the same serial no as the sax !
There are only 4 minor cosmetic issues to be mentioned on this sax (see pictures) :
- one resolder of the top post to body high f rod
- one resolder of one of the legs of the lower c pad cup guard to the body
- remaining track of dent removal adjacent to upper octave rod post to body
- tracks- and remainig small dent on bottom bown & bottom bow guard/ stiffener
And there are some scratches and laquer wear here and there.
