STORY
Rama and Sita, the Hindu embodiment of the perfect man and woman were to be rulers, but were tricked and ran away into the forest to live, where Sita was stolen by the demon, Ravana and taken far away. Rama, played in the story by a woman, goes to find her, following her trail of jewels and a scarf, and runs into the White Monkey King, Hanuman. Hanuman gathers his army of monkeys and they head off to war against the Demon, Ravana.
The battle does not seem to go well and it appears the demons will win, but then Rama shot a special arrow given by the sky god and killed Ravana. The play ends in great joy as the demons rule has ended and Rama and Sita take their rightful place as rulers.
