My name is Sadie! A mailman actually saw my owner open the door to his car, put me out and drive off. Isn't that a fine how do you do? I was terrified, so I tucked my tail and ran off to a schoolyard because I saw some children I thought I could play with. Well, they shooed me away, so I ended up just wandering around for 3 weeks hoping my owner would come back and get me. It was really cold. Anyway, people were trying to catch me and get me to a safe place, but I was afraid so I kept running. But then I ran into someone's back yard, so here I am. It turns out that I am great with other dogs and kids but I'm mostly afraid of men until I get to know them . I still don't quite trust people, so I will need someone to help me regain that trust.
