Hi! I'm Jaxx, and this is my story. I was living with a family who moved off and left me to fend for myself. I became the target for neighborhood bullies who were shooting at me with bows and arrows and pelting me with rocks. Can you imagine? So of course I became a little leery of people. I was befriended by a lady in the neighborhood who called a rescue group to come save me! So here I am! It took me a month or so to figure out that most people are really nice. I've learned to love car rides, and treats and long walks. I'm a little selfish with things I get because I haven't had a lot. I really like those nice warm, fuzzy doggie beds, and I love balls and stuffed toys. I'm 1-1/2 years old and I weigh about 40 pounds. I deserve a caring family of my own.
